Mechanical Engineering is one of the core departments of Arvind Gavali College of Engineering. The department has qualified and UGC-approved faculty members along with well-equipped laboratories to support effective teaching and practical learning. The department is committed to providing quality education and developing skilled engineers who can meet the needs of industry and society. The academic activities, guidance, and learning environment are designed to help students build strong technical knowledge and practical skills. The main focus of the department is to prepare competent and responsible engineering professionals.
Design Engineering is an important area of Mechanical Engineering. It is related to the design and development of machines, products, and engineering systems used in various industries such as manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and automation. The field encourages creativity, problem-solving, and innovation, which are essential for modern engineering applications.
The department gives equal importance to academic excellence and practical exposure. To strengthen students' industrial knowledge, various training programs, industrial visits, internships, and project-based activities are encouraged. These initiatives help students understand real industrial practices and prepare them for future professional challenges. For co-curricular and extracurricular development, the Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA) has been established. The association regularly organizes technical events, workshops, competitions, and cultural activities, providing students with opportunities to improve their technical, leadership, and communication skills.
"Nothing is Impossible for Mechanical Engineers with Skill-Oriented Knowledge."
Vision :
To develop professional technocrats and socially responsible engineers in the field of Mechanical engineering.
